Direct primary care, or DPC, is a membership model. Instead of paying per visit or running everything through insurance, you pay a flat monthly fee that covers your primary care and your urgent care.
The difference shows up in the small things. We keep our patient panel small on purpose, so visits run longer, often 45 minutes or more, and you can text or call your provider directly when something comes up. No phone trees, no waiting rooms full of strangers, no wondering what it will cost.
Put simply, it is primary care without insurance standing between you and your provider.

Eshan Budhwani, MSPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing comprehensive primary care and urgent care services in Atlanta and the surrounding East Metro communities, including Decatur, Brookhaven, Tucker, and Clarkston.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia and completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Misericordia University in Pennsylvania.
Prior to founding Rise Up Direct Care, Eshan gained five years of clinical experience in both primary care and urgent care, caring for patients across a wide range of medical needs. He treats patients ages two and up, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, and same-day urgent concerns. He is fluent in Hindi.
